Our block of half-baked duck foie gras is special, in that it is like most reconstructed duck foie gras blocks but it is baked at a low temperature, which allows it to be classified as a half-baked foie gras.
It represents the perfect marriage of its fondant like texture, typically of half-baked foie gras, and an authentic and powerful taste of duck Foie Gras, whilst offering beautiful morsels of duck foie gras.
It is baked at a low temperature allowing the preservation of its incomparable duck foie gras flavor.
We bake our half-baked foie gras naturally without adding any coloring or preservatives, just adding a pinch of salt and pepper.
We take great care in choosing our duck livers from the farms of South West France. These ducks are raised and fed according to very precise rules. This is why we can use the "Canards of South-West" label for our duck livers.

We recommend this lot of 6 half-baked duck Foies Gras (+ 1 complimentary) placed in 120g jars as an aperitif with friends or family (as you will be able to have about 14-21 servings), ideal especially for new year celebrations.
Our half-baked Foies Gras must be kept in the fridge (+2°C/+3°C) and must be consumed with six months or before the date displayed on the box.
After opening: keep in the fridge and consume quickly.

To accompany and compliment the flavors of this block of Duck Foies Gras, we recommend a delicate, long and smooth wine such as the Côtes of Montravel from the "Château Moulin Caresse" with its subtle and perfumed aromas or even a drier but fruiter white wine such as the vintage "Magie d'Automne" from Domain Viticole situated in Purple Perigord.
